Arab Future Cities Summit (AFCS), the Middle East’s premier smart cities event, will take place on 7 – 8 April 2014 in Doha, Qatar. In its 3rd year the event will attract over 300 senior level executives to discuss the progress and future requirements for constructing smart cities across the Middle East.

To cope with increasing urbanization city leaders need to find new ways to manage complexity, increase efficiency, reduce expenses and improve quality of life. To address key challenges in water and energy supply, transport and mobility, sustainable development and citizen engagement governments are exploring and utilizing technology and intelligent urban policy.

With a focus on knowledge sharing and networking Arab Future Cities Summit 2014 will showcase city development best practice strategies through presentations from some of the world’s leading experts and the innovative solutions that will integrate citizens, systems and services.
